It’s a rare sight. We love to catch a celebrity loading up on -not designer clothes- but BOOKS! And paying full price! Kate Beckinsale’s stock just went up more than a few points in our opinion, because she’s patronizing Book Soup on Sunset- one of the few and greatest independent bookstores still in existence.

Wow, that is newsworthy… Props, Kate!! Glad you’re buying books (or giving ’em as gifts). And the independent retailers need our bucks, so that’s good too. Let’s hope it start a trend. (No, I don’t own a bookstore, but I love libraries and all types of reading…..)
