RICHARD GERE HOPES TO SWAY HILLARY CLINTON

After all these years, Buddhist Richard Gere has not stopped fighting for Tibet at every opportunity he gets. He’s in Washington now lobbying congress to support Tibet on the 50th anniversary of the uprising in which the Dalai Lama escaped to India. Gere is hoping that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, despite her commitment to trade with China, will understand the importance of his cause.
