RICKY MARTIN’S GAY CONFESSION INSPIRES MAKEUP AD

Hot on the heels of Ricky Martin’s confession that he is, indeed, gay, the cosmetic giant Yardley in London jumped on the bandwagon and used the news to promote their tearproof mascara. Cute.

  1. I can completely understand why he kept this to himself for so long…marketability. He (and his handlers) was probably afraid that he wouldn’t appeal to women if everyone knew. I know I for years was one of those who drooled at the sight of him. Look at the pic Janet used up there. HOW HOT IS HE??

  2. I always suspected he was a fag. The big question is: If gays are so proud of who they are, why didn’t he come out years ago. Must be he has a well-known celeb gay lover and he knew the news would come out soon anyway.

  3. Because many people call gays perjorative names, like fags.

  4. He didn’t want to put off his female market. He’s had a huge female fan following (still does with me) because he’s so good looking and sexy. He didn’t want to automatically be branded. He wanted to be marketable. Can’t blame him.

  5. Such a hot piece of male meat. I’d love to be the Lady Ham in that sandwich.

  6. Why would females still be “worked up” over him since he has come out as a homo? Just wondering.

I agree with dandy lion; I always thought he was gay.

  7. that’s a cute ad. even tho I think no one was surprised to hear he was gay.

  8. Yeah, I know this is a gossip site, but this ain’t gossip.

Romans chapt. 1, verse 27: “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error.”

That’s not to say that Jesus does not love them, but he desires homosexuals to repent and ask forgiveness for their sins.

  9. Was anyone actually surprised that he was gay? Hetero males don’t all of a sudden have “surrogate” babies, like Clay Aiken and Ricky did.

  10. Since it is so important for gays to be known as gay first, then they need to start like that fron the start.

Would he have garnered all that success, attention, and fortune from women from the get go? No. They should then rely more on the gay community to spend the penney on them. I mean, if you (girly) bought a poster of this guy do you feel you wasted your mone?

The end of misrepresenting yourself is hopefully soon ending.

  11. I mean he is out, now what? Break out a new video with him humping all over a woman. Not very credible is it?

There goes your marketability. What I am saying is that many don’t care you are gay Ricky, some of us just like the artist and the art being represented, that’s it. It’s art. No one is saying it is real, authentic, whatever. It’s make believe. Now you ruined it.

How does the song go? I love her cause she is beautiful bla blah blah. A gay and a straight could sing that and it would be OK. But you ruined it.

  12. His eyes look kind of scary…like a blank stare. In the words of the “church lady” on Saturday Night Live: “Could it be……Satan”?

  13. americans aren’t that different:
THEY ARE USED TO ACT LIKE FAGGOTS?
