ROB PATTINSON RETAINS HIS PRETTY FACE TO PLAY A CAD IN “BEL AMI”

Robert Pattinson is quite convincing as an elegant gentleman in “Bel Ami,” the movie he’s filming in Budapest. He plays an irresistible social climber who manipulates women. Producers were smart because they didn’t give him atrocious mutton chop sideburns or unattractive facial hair. Or even a bad haircut for the period piece. He remains delectably attractive. Much is being made of the fact that Kristen Stewart paid him a visit in Hungary this weekend. How could she resist?

  1. Oh I hope he does well. I’d hate to see him fizzle after Twilight.

  2. Will his giant fan-base follow him to this movie? I doubt it. The didn’t show up for Remember Me. I am not a Twi-hard, and don’t understand the screaming 17-45 yr old women, but if this dude isn’t in a Twilight movie, I don’t think anyone cares about him. Which is a shame. I thought he was good as Cedric Diggory.

  3. I think he’s a good actor but he has a look that doesn’t translate to playing normal people. I see him doing mostly British films and period pieces.
