Now that Robbie Williams is out of rehab, he’s started to come to his senses. According to his friends in the UK, he’s toying with the idea of getting back together with his boy band Take That. Back in 1991 to 1996, Take That was really hot and sold 25 million records. Originally Robbie left the band because he wanted a more adult image. He completely rejected the idea of reuniting with the guys when they got back together and went on tour a few years ago. Since then the band has gone on to success without him – they had two #1 singles and a #1 album. Robbie’s solo effort wasn’t successful. Despite the fact that the band has proven themselves without Robbie (and that must REALLY irk him,) they’re open to his return.

  1. Actually his solo effort has been successful. Even the so called “flop” Rudebox was one of the top selling albums in 2006. This reference is from an interview with his mum from earlier this year.
Who the hell knows if he’ll ever perform with Take That again. They don’t really need him. He doesn’t need them. If he did it, it would probably be just for sentimental reasons rather than some dire financial or professional need.

  2. Anon is absolutely 100% correct. Outside the US, Robbie Williams is a superstar and can sellout stadiums at will. It’s a joke that Robbie Williams needs Take That for anything; it’s much the other way around. Gary Barlow, Take That’s lead singer, was supposed to be the next George Michael when he went solo and that never happened. As for the other three members, I can’t even name them much less anything else. Get your facts straight Janet. You’re better than this.

  3. JUST DON’T DO IT!!
THERE ARE TOO MANY HAIIIII-asshole AND faggots LOVING THAT GROUP OF assholes. And last but not least: IN THE GROUP EITHER!!

  4. Janet does not have her facts right. Note that Rolling Stone said in 2004:
    13. Robbie Williams
    $32.5 million
Still a myth in America, Williams continues to maintain his phenomenon status in Europe and Asia. Williams played stadiums to the tune of more than $50 million last year, and, in Europe alone, he went platinum six times over with albums such as Escapology and Live at Knebworth.

On that list, he placed higher than Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Coldplay, Elton John and P Diddy (okay, this was 2004, but this shows that he’s still around). Robbie sells out arenas around the world in under 10 minutes.

  5. Well Robbie should be happy he’s a hit in Europe and Asia because the Euro is beating the heck out of the dollar since Bush jr been in office.

  6. Take That have just completed a 2nd Concert Tour of Europe and Britain recently. Both hugely successful. They crashed the ticket site when tickets went on sale for the current tour. They are still in the top 10 with album and single sales- where is Robbie?

  9. He sucks and is a tweaker. Janet, you report on the same tired faves of YOURS all the time. And they’re played out and drugged out, like Amy Winehouse.
