We have NEVER seen a paparazzi photo of Robert Deniro shopping in a market so THIS was a surprise. But we soon learned this was a location shoot for the Nancy Meyers comedy “The Intern,” which sounds like it’ll be funny. Anne Hathaway plays the owner of an internet fashion business who learns that she is getting an intern. The intern turns out NOT to be a stylish college student, but an older man played by DeNiro. Surprisingly, the intern becomes a valuable assistant and the pair develop a friendly relationship.

Recently I saw the DeNiro directed documentary
that was a tribute to his father Robert DeNiro Sr. His father was a painter/artist who did Not receive the accolades and recognition that Robert Jr.has received. His father was a multi-talented and humbled man who had total dedication to his family. For all of his fame Robert Deniro is a 2 time Oscar winner with Nothing to prove to the general audience. He continues to be married and stays out of the limelight with Negative publicity which is a plus to his acting and directing career. One of his best films is the movie “A Bronx Tale” which he directed. His friend Chazz who played the role of “Sonny” wrote the screenplay for this coming of age film which is still a joy to watch after all these years. PEACE!!
