We knew that Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster was taller than him, (6’1”) but this is ridiculous! She’s not even wearing platforms! This picture is not photoshopped, it’s just shot at an amazing angle and nattily dressed Rod looks diminutive. (He claims to be 5’11.”) The unlikely pair were on their way into 34 Restaurant in London. We wonder if Rod will see the humor in this.

She’s actually 2.5 steps higher than him or about 15″, both of his legs are bent, but only one of hers is, he’s just stepping up off a sidewalk that’s not level, but slanted down to the curb, she’s also closer to the camera which made her look even taller & she’s wearing what looks to be 3″ heels, which makes her about 6’4″.
All of those things add up to making her look far taller than she would if she were wearing flats & standing next to him.
But the remarkable thing is that he has enough confidence to go out in public with her while wearing heels that make her so much taller than him.
Tom Cruise rarely lets Katie Holmes do that & she’s only 3″ taller than him!
I;ve seen pics of Katie Holmes next to the Cruise-meister and she has on flat shoes and towers over him by at least 4-5 inches. He is 5 ft 6 in and she is 5 ft 11.
