Russell Brand might not make a perfect husband, but he did give his new wife Katy Perry a thoughtful wedding gift. Brand paid thousands of dollars for Machli, a female Bengal tiger who lives in the national park where their Indian jungle wedding took place. Machli is considered the most beautiful tiger in the park – and that’s where she will stay. The Brands are not taking Machli away – Russell paid for her upkeep for her lifetime and donated money to the animal park. Machli will always be well cared for, and Katy and Russell can visit her whenever they want to.

Good on them. The tiger is more relevant than either one of them.
I was afraid they were going to keep it in their backyard. I approve of their actions, good for them, didn’t think they had it in them.
I agree it’s a good “present”but for that animal to be really free and healthy as much as possible on a “reserve” why does it have to wear that collar? I’m sure it must be hard to swallow large chunks of meat with that thing on, let alone if it got caught on something. Take it off!!!
So that’s what Katy’s eyes really look like.
It’s amazing what she does to them for performances.
I think this is a great idea, and a responsible one; and I think these two are really good together. So sue me, cause really they’re prolly doomed. : )
There has always been an animal theme to Katy and Russell’s relationship. The first night the slept together he gave her crabs.

On “Entertainment Tonight” last night, Mary Hart announced that Katy suddenly made a 30 minute impromptu speech about reincarnation right after the buddhist ceremony. She said she was a total believer in reincarnation and she believes she and Russell were together as tigers in a previous life. Satan totally approved her message.

If you are against Scientology (and most if not all on here ARE), then you will avoid buddhism and hinduism; all 3 believe in reincarnation.
PS: Barbara Wawa (“The View”) has stated she believes in reincarnation. Maybe after her demise, she will come back without the lithp.
Indy, I do not have an issue with Scientology because of the concept of reincarnation. I find any egocentric belief in life after death ridiculous. Need I say that I find the literal notion of the Second Coming beyond absurd.
Scientology is a cult created by a failed science fiction writer, so frankly I think if you want to compare a more traditional religion to compare it to, choose Mormonism.
Hinduism and Buddhism are ancient religions deserving of some respect. They have been around a great deal longer than Christianity, and yet have done much less harm.
