It’s been SO long since Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have been seen together that we can’t imagine they’re still a couple. Of course they’ve had dry spells before, but never for this long and we think we know why. (Remember, Ryan and Eva hooked up in 2012 when they filmed “The Place Beyond the Pines.”) In May and June, Ryan directed and produced a movie that he wrote called “How To Catch A Monster” and he cast Eva as one of the leads. The movie had a small no-frills budget and filmed in Detroit. It’s entirely possible that Ryan was so wrapped up in his project that he neglected Eva or carelessly bossed her around on the set and they clashed. Since the movie wrapped they seem to have gone their separate ways. (Above, the pair in “The Place Beyond the Pines.”)
