SACHA BARON COHEN HOPES TO HANG A WARHOL ON HIS WALL

Sacha Baron Cohen is interested in acquiring modern art and he has his eye on a very special Warhol painting. Cohen saw the piece at a charity party at an LA art gallery and he was immediately drawn to it. In 1981 Andy painted a portrait of his last boyfriend Jon Gould, an executive at Paramount. It is NOT a lithograph like much of Andy’s art. Since Andy was in love with Gould, it’s an exceptionally personal and rare piece. The Borat creator has been negotiating to buy the multi million dollar Warhol and experts agree the value is likely to increase enormously, so it’s a good investment.

   I wouldn’t pay fifty cents for it. Art is meant to invoke certain feeling and thoughts. All I would think of when I looked at that painting is “That’s the guy that sucked Andy Warhols d.ck.” Not that there’s anything wrong with it.

    Interesting that Cohen would want this work, a mostly unknown Paramount exec. I like it, but I’m not sure I’d want it out of all the Warhols???

    Most men I ever heard of named ‘Jon’, not ‘John’, are gay. Sacha should give the millions to charity and put a pic of a mud pie on his wall. What a stupid selfish creep.

    This piece is AWESOME!!! I was at the event and Borat was definately into the Warhols…Cantley Inc had a room full of them…FYI Warhol never did Lithos’, famous for screenprints..I think this one was an original on canvas…
