Sacha Baron Cohen is filming “The Dictator” all over New York, and this week his character was in a slapstick scene where the hungry dictator who is wandering around the city, stole a plate of food right off a diner’s table at an outside cafe and ran away with it. We’ll be happy if this movie is only half as funny as “Borat.”

  1. OMG, that looks hilarious. I always feel a bit naughty, and a need to take a shower after watching Sacha’s movies, but I must admit, they are pretty damn funny!! This guy is a comedic genius.

  2. Sasha is a genius and I can’t wait to see this movie. Just looking at his outfits makes me laugh, wait until we get to see the actual scenes.

  3. You two and Janet must have money invested in this monvie. This is the second post Janet has done on this movie.

I don’t find him funny at all, irritating and childish humor if you ask me, (and I know you all don’t).

But with a body like THAT he should make a point to always be filmed fully dressed, but I realise he is TRYING to be FUNNY. Perhaps the only laugh this film WILL get will be from the geeky gawky body thrust into their eyes.

I’ll wait for another role like he had in Sweeny Todd, where he actually gets to blend in seamlessly and brilliantly in a fantastic movie. PLEASE somebody give this guy something to do besides putting these same things together over and over. It’s been DONE already and it wasn’t funny the first time.

  4. I’m looking forward to seeing this one too. The levels of ‘wrongness’ this guy can go to, is always humouress.

  5. homo sexuals like mutual slender friends with HUGE balls, folks.
(btw: big ears are second best)

  6. There are films that you wished that you had seen on the big screen. Long after the movie has been presented on HBO and you laugh out loud, you think,I wish I had seen that in the movies. I had Not seen any of SBC’s films, but I did see Bruno on HBO. As a comedian, he is relentless, there is No shame of how far he will go for (the audiences’)laughs, which shows a determination to capture the attention of moviegoers. SBC may just be the Mel Brooks of our generation!!

  7. SBC is a genius! I say to the grumps who posted above, I know you are easily amused. I wonder what you find funny. Let us enjoy our humor, because we love it. I can’t vait for zis movie to come out!!!
