Maybe Gravity star Sandra Bullock has been going to so many award shows lately that she needed to try something new. So she devised a Goth look (described as “morbid fashion influenced by Victorian and punk”) for the Director’s Guild Awards. Black hair, blood red lips, and black nails complimented her very pale complexion and long black dress. Striking, but actually we prefer her usual girl-next-door look.

Janet, you’re ridiculous! Goth? Really? You need to google “goth”. That’s a picture of a brunette wearing a black dress. You didn’t call Cate Blanchette “goth” when she wore a black dress to the Golden Globes.

Goth? A dark grey dress and red lipstick does not make the goth look.
