SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE FIASCO: CAN LINDSAY LOHAN ACT WITHOUT ADDERALL?

How many times in the past have we heard people ponder Lindsay Lohan’s drug episodes or criminally messed up life, and cluck “It’s too bad BECAUSE SHE’S SUCH A GOOD ACTRESS!” Fact is, she hasn’t displayed acting talent for many years, and when she did she was a child, and open to less criticism. Obviously she started to BELIEVE all those sympathetic people who thought she had talent, because she was bragging all week about how great her appearance on Saturday Night Live would be. A triumphant return? Hardly. Lohan’s contribution was minimal and she strained to read her cue cards like a stiff robot. Has she lost her memory- or her sense of humor – or both? Whoever cast her as Elizabeth Taylor must be getting worried about now.

  1. Although I did not watch SNL and my stupid I-pad wont let me watch any video of her performance. Perez Hilton described LILO’s appearance as this:

“It was the second highest-rated episode of the entire season with a 3.3 rating”

That means that there are a lot of people interested in What LILO is doing, contrary to popular belief!!

PS. I don’t think Lindsay was going for an Oscar worthy performance by
    doing SNL. Just sayin’

  2. Lindsay displayed great charisma and potential in The Parent Trap. She followed that up with solid performances in Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. The iconic director Robert Altman cast her opposite the great Meryl Streep. She’s like a boxer who squandered his skills on drugs and drink. She needs to get back in the gym and give up partying entirely. I hope she can do it.

  3. She was predictably horrid on SNL. She was oft seen reading the cue cards, had no timing whatsoever and didn’t even try to memorize her lines. She is delusional and thinks the World owes her a living.

  4. How many more “triumphant returns” is she going to try to pull off. Her voice box is already damaged, rotted out, and hoarse from drugs. And if truth be told, Sam Ronson was waiting in the wings with some more dope for the dope. And if and when she is cast as Elizabeth Taylor, it should be billed as a comedy. Whose brilliant idea was this….she looks nothing like la Liz.

  5. Geo,

Exactly! Hope she improves. She’s tough enough if she can stay away from the drink and drugs.

  6. I saw that one skit and it just happened to be the one in the picture. It was so bad I turned it off. She seriously had no timing and you could see her reading the cue cards every time she had any lines. It was pitiful, except I don’t feel sorry for somebody who had it all and threw it all away and thinks the world owes her. Her sense of entitlement is sickening.

  7. Geo, hopefully Lindsay will read what you have to say. Some people need to hear things in different terms, and you may have an analogy she can relate to.

  8. Maybe they told her, yeah, yeah she got the job playing Liz because the director or producer, somebody needed a blow job and had an 8ball on them. So now she believes she has the Liz job. So let see if it wasn’t just lip talk.

  9. I’m sure Elizabeth Taylor will come to live when she got heard this CUNT-LOHAN would play her!!

  10. You can’t choose your family but you can choose your friends.
At one point LL had SNL producer Lorne Micheals and Tina Fey in her corner and she’s worked with both Meryl Steep and Robert Altman on his last film before he died.
Instead of seeking the friendship and council of people who cared for her and wanted her to do well, she hung around a loser like Parasite Hilton who was jealous of the career Lohan had as an actor and could only wish to have 1/20 of her success.
At this point one can only hope Lohan recovers her sobriety because reigniting a successful acting career looks to be out of her reach.
Just think of this, her co-stars Rachel MacAddams and Amanda Seyfried have only enjoyed MORE success after Mean Girls.
Lohan was the lead of that very successful film and what has she to show for it.
I’ve never seen a 25 year old look as used up as Lohan does and her looks are the very least of her problem.
I hope she doesn’t end up like Whitney Houston.
When Houston was alive people did not speak openly about her drug problems because as long as Houston sold all those CDs and concert tickets no one gave a shit what WH was doing to herself.
It was only when Houston became completely unraveled that people began speaking up about the problem and by then it was too late.

  11. the SNL gig was a gift from her former mentor Lorne Micheals.

How difficult do you suppose it would have been for Lohan to memorize her lines for her appearance?

But you see Lohan could not memorize her lines because she too busy DOING lines.

Many people have dabbled and only a few remain unscathed by their experimentation.

After a certain period, the drugs make all the choices FOR you.

  12. I am tired of everbody saying”she had such great talent”.I call it bull. She was a typical child actor and not much taleted at all and finally it shows.

  13. Too much too early now its too late. She is an actress and so? They are a dime a dozen. Any casting of LL is pure stunt casting, everybody wants to be the last person to hire her before she does a Whitney Houston.

  14. Why doesn’t she just play herself in a pre-o’d, dead, shithouse, trainwreck,3-D, bio flik.

  15. Meh. Minimal talent at best YEARS ago. Now just an embarrassment. Stop. Just go away.

  16. She must have been born under a lucky star to get so many chances with nothing to show for it.

What are we suppose to be? Her saviors? If she can’t do the job there are so many deserving and hard working unknown actresses ready to take her place and I wish they would be given one-third the chances she has had.

  17. Hello just happened upon your website from Yahoo after I typed in, “%BLOGTITLE%” or something similar (can’t quite remember exactly). Anyhow, I’m pleased I found it simply because your content is exactly what I’m looking for (writing a college paper) and I hope you don’t mind if I gather some information from here and I will of course credit you as the reference. Many thanks.
