She’s definitely got the “IT” factor a-la-Marilyn Monroes “IT” factor. That certain something that is both playful, sexual, honest, sweet, innocent and downright dirty all at the same time. PLUS they BOTH can/could act. Marilyn like no ther. Scarlett is in a class by herself for today’s actresses.

I have liked her in certain movies, and won’t deny she is attractive, but I do not get her over-all appeal. She is somewhat generic – there are several actresses, and a couple of singers, who look too similar for comfort – and I cannot say that I have ever found her captivating on screen.
Yes, she’s lovely, but I don’t find her at all charismatic and she can’t act to save her life. She was the worst part in Iron Man. If anybody makes Gwyneth Paltrow look good they should just bury themselves!

Its hard to believe she’s the same age as Lindsay Lohan. They are so completely far apart in their looks, talent and career. I like Scarlett and am glad she’s making her way thru Hollywood successfully.
Sally: I agree 100%. Marilyn had a face, figure and personality that will never be seen again. Scarlett looks like a stuck-up bitch. She may not be, but that’s the impression she gives. Besides that, her top lip is deformed. Besides that, her handsome hubby was pissed off because she ignored him at the awards show and gave a deep kiss to her co-star in some movie they were in. Besides that, she is plastic and only a fair actress. And I insist that everyone sees her in this way. LOL
Indy, exactly WHAT do you mean by “plastic”? Scarlett has had no plastic surgery and her breasts are her own naturally voluptuous ones.
Also, I was not saying she is a replacement of MM, but that she has a certain quality that other actresses in her age group don’t seem to have, and MM had the same thing when she was heree. People at the time said MM couldn’t act and it hurt her deeply. It caused her to study with the great teachers because she was so unsure of herself she believed the mean comments about her. She was easily shattered.
Scarlett doesn’t have this quality, and I’m happy she is a strong woman and believes in herself. I think for her age she has much to offer and is a sweet, playful erotic, and smart woman. I’ve seen her many times as a guest on talk shows and been impressed with her each time. She holds her own and with Letterman and really cracked him up good. Also Leno, where she made a great impression on him and had interesting conversation with him. She’s much more than just a pretty girl.
