Morgan Freeman’s new show on Discovery’s Science Channel premiers this week and sounds quite enticing. It’s called “Through the Wormhole” and the show will investigate attempts to reconcile science and religion. (For example: How Did We Get Here?) QUITE an ambitious project. Certainly Freeman has the VOICE for this exploration, but has he already made up his mind? Have YOU? Freeman has been quoted as saying “It’s hard for me to get my mind wrapped around the idea that there is an ‘intelligence’ that controls everything.”

I, for one, find it very interesting and will find it even more interesting being that Morgan played “God” in two very entertaining movies: Bruce Almighty, and Evan Almighty, which I enjoyed very much and the role was perfect for him. I’ve enjoyed his other movies as well, including Seven with Brad Pitt. I think he’s a great actor and his private life is none of our business. I’m sure this female he supposedly is having relations with is not BLOOD RELATED and there is more to it than meets the public eye. All you Bible thumpers should follow your own book’s advice about “judge not lest ye be judged”. Sound familiar??? How about “Let he who is without sin throw the first stone”.
If you don’t want gossip revealed about a celebrity, then this isn’t the site for you. Gossip is Janet’s bread and butter. And just because he isn’t related by blood doesn’t make it any less disgusting. If that is the case then all step fathers and mothers have a green light to prey on their children, etc. It’s a matter of what society approves, and banging your grand daughter…blood or not, is wrong. And I have to remind you, just because he played God, doesn’t make him God. He’s still a creepy old man…and an ugly one at that.
There you have it. Freeman does not believe in an intelligence that controls everything. Freeman is exercising his free will to do as he pleases. That explains it all.
If the thing about his granddaughter is true. He’s a talented actor and a creepy horrible person in his private life.

NO, Reta is NOT “getting all ‘wet’ over Morgan. What a disgusting comment. You are just as creepy as you accuse him of being by saying something like that about me. I SAID I didn’t KNOW anything about his private SEX life and NEITHER do YOU! We don’t KNOW what the real situation is with these two, and therefore cannot judge it.
In the case of Woody Allen we DO know more about the situation because there was a THIRD party in Mia Farrow. She not only found nude pictures of the then teenaged daughter on Woody’s mantle, but she also said in interviews and I’m sure in her book which I haven’t read, so I can’t be sure it’s in there, but I DID hear her interview and remeber her saying she had come into the room and caught Woody with his face in the crotch of the then (4 or 5 yr old) little girl they had adpted together. He jumped up and acted guilty when she came in and she thought from the way he acted that he had been doing something to the girl.
So, yes, I DO condem Woody and it has NOTHING to do with his color or Morgan color. I am not a racist and am appalled by how much racism there is on this site. What color someone’s skin is has absolutely NOTHING to do with their behavior or actions.
For the record my pet peeves are racism, sexism, child abuse, animal abuse, drunk drivers and/or alcoholics in general, and drug abuse. Those are the top. I believe in equality for all, fair and just treatment of all people all over the planet. And I don’t believe in organized religions. My belief is that religions have accounted for MOST of the violence and wars on this planet thruout our history up to and including the present day. And if everybody wasn’t busy trying to prove that THEIR “God” was the true and correct and right “God” they might stop to actually listen to each other be PEOPLE for a change and find the true similarities we all share.
Morgan and his step-granddaughter are to wed soon. He has promised D’Ena Hines that he will marry her and she has said this is what she wants, per an interview with her in the Nat’l Enquirer, with quotation marks around what she said. It’s also on the WWW. He is 72 and she is 27.
If this is TRUE, I don’t think it’s a good thing any more than the rest of you do BUT the woman IS a woman and has free will and can legally do what she wishes. My guess would be, given the extreme young age and difference between them, that she is a golddigger, and possibly even seduced him from the get-go with his loot in mind. Not excusing him having sex with her when she was underage, if indeed he did. We have no proof of that, only gossip.
I still admire his acting abilities and since he’s not a child molester like Woody Allen I will continue to see his movies. He is much admired and respected in the entertainment industry and I haven’t heard of any backlash against him like there is against Woody (and Roman Polanski).

Wonderful actor and very funny and has a smooth voice and…I love him as an actor and…He has been around forever busting his ass and working massive hard all his life.
So many Rich people are Science and Religion and every one has the right to do what ever works for them and what ever the direction Mr.Freeman goes will be the right way and it is all about what makes him happy.
It is all about having fun and making his mark on this world and he is truely amazing and smart and a strong man with Joy and love in his Heart and truely has passion for what he likes to do.
