SORRY HALLE, URSULA ANDRESS REMAINS THE TOP BOND GIRL

Hands down, the most iconic Bond girl continues to be Ursula Andress who played Honey Ryder in “Dr No.” Her photo walking out of the ocean is as famous as Farrah Fawcett’s red bathing suit poster. Back in 1962, James Bond’s “girls” were ridiculously over-sexed playthings who were all too willing to jump into bed with 007. Not exactly a flattering portrait of the female sex. Every time a new James Bond film is released, Swiss- born Ursula Andress is trotted out for the festivities. It’s been fifty years since Dr No, and Ursula still looks good at 76. (Above right, Ursula at a “Skyfall” 007 celebration in Switzerland this week.)

  1. She was and still is, one sexy, bad ass broad. She is in total command. Wished she come to TV in a total Diva role.

But let’s not forget Honor Blackman. Another bigger than life, awesomely beautiful woman.

The other Bond gals don’t hold a candle to these two. Well, except maybe Lotta Lenye!!!!

  2. Halle Berry is probably the last thing anyone thinks of when you evoke the bond legend.

  3. look at this poor woman’s face!! Yikes! she was beautiful when she was young.

  4. pssssst: this is looking after yourself.
    americans forget these things.

    THAT’S WHY OBAMA IS THERE!!

  5. Most of the Bond girl’s are babes but there were a few exceptions.

  6. My all time favourite is Vesper Lynd – Eva Green of the first Bond done by Daniel Craig. She was both hot and interesting. Complex character.

  7. i met her in Suisse when i saw her son (we were in the class at college):she was unpretentious with me,the house beautiful and above all,her son was well-educated,smart,down-to-earth(she raised him alone)
now i know the rumors on her (she might help laundering)

  8. pulled or not, she has no turkey neck and facial wrinkles, I prefer that over the other
