STAR WARS: CARRIE FISHER INTENDS TO DO IT BETTER THIS TIME AROUND

To be honest, we’d have zero interest in seeing the new Star Wars movie if we didn’t know Carrie Fisher was reprising her Princess Leia role thirty seven years later. Don’t bother asking her about the plot – she’s sworn to secrecy. But she’s full of jokes – she said “I begged them to put my buns hairstyle back in grey like Granny Leia.” Carrie says that this time she wants to get her character’s accent right – less British. “I looked pretentious faking the accent – it came and went.” According to her mother Debbie Reynolds, Carrie was inspired to lose a lot of weight for her return as Leia so she’ll look good in those costumes.

  1. What a complete farce. This Star Wars rubbish has been done to death. Americans keep emptying their wallets for this bin material.

  2. Love Carrie Fisher! A truly decent person with a heart!

  3. I saw her on a recent episode of Legit, and her speech seems greatly impaired. Almost like she’s had a stroke. Not sure if it’s the result of drugs or shock therapy, but she is not the same.

  4. Time to move on. Carrie is much younger than me – but looks a lot older.

  5. Postcards from the edge?
Carrie Fisher is a “true” child of Hollywood.
Both parents were entertainers and she is a survivor more so than a lot of the other celebrity children. Her first on screen role was with Warren Beatty in the movie Shampoo, and Carrie made a mint
off the original Star Wars flick by being paid
a percentage instead of a straight salary. Oscar Winners Shirley McLaine and Meryl Streep fix the bill to star in her autobiographical movie. With Wishful Drinking
Carrie was hilarious about segments of her life and family members that most of us would Never divulge. Continued best to Carrie!!

  6. A brilliant writer but a just so-so as an actress. She might have lost a lot of weight for the new film but the face isn’t going to look good on a 20ft screen.

  7. She looks terrible, not just old…..would be a long day in makeup getting her ready for any camera.

  8. She’s a screwed up mess and they’ve also screwed up the Star Wars movies! I have no desire to see that hot mess!
