STEVE GRAND’S LOVE SONG IS UNIQUE- BUT UNIVERSAL

Overnight, Steve Grand, 23, went from just another musician performing in dive bars in Chicago to an internet sensation. He invested every penny he could get his hands on ($7000) and made his own video for his countryish love song “All American Boy.” It helps that he looks like a cross between a college athlete and JFK Jr. But the unique part of the song is the fact that it’s the story of unrequited love for another man. It still manages to be tender and refreshing and many people seem to identify with it. Grand was born Catholic and admits his parents sent him to “straight therapy” for five years but have since come a long way and they now support him totally. It’s a touching video – take a look.

  1. The parents are the ones who should have been in therapy.

    Jump back haters.

  2. This is just broke back mountain part 2.

If I were an actor, I could never play a homosexual role. I just couldn’t do it.

Matt Damon is gay all the way in real life that’s why that candelabra scene was so easy for him.

  3. Good for this kid. Being true to himself and making his mark in music. Now is his time. Country music is not my flavor but I did grow up in it. It’s not going to be easy. A few years ago he would not have gotten this kind of notice at all. Doing this when I was his age he would have literally been risking life and limb!

What do you call it when some skinny white woman sings a love song? Is that considered pushing the “straight agenda”? If you don’t connect with the lyric or music, don’t listen to it.

Matt Damon is certainly not gay. He is simply an “A” list actor who chose to play a gay role in what became a very successful movie. He has proven his talent and bankability so will be hired again for other big ticket projects. See how this works?

  4. the universe is much bigger than north america alone.
    HIS MANAGERS TOLD HIM THIS!!

  5. Too bad most gay ppl dont realize that this gay propaganda is absolutely detrimental to them and its not helping them in any way, nor is with them. Its instead a very sinister agenda.

  6. @Ricky Rocky – dude, noone’s hating, go and check ur head.

  7. The story told in this video was so touching! We’ve all been there, gay or straight. Bring on the “Gay Agenda,” I say. It’s really no different than the Straight Agenda: love, sex, laundry , grocery shopping, etc…

  8. Ditto what WendyinDC said.

Seeking civil rights is a human agenda.

  9. Interesting that he’s always drinking alcohol in scenes with his potential lover. Even has beers stacked neatly on the piano. What’s with that?
