Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth, 40, was photographed in New York, above, with her daughter Lola, 9, and ever since, she’s been tormented by pseudo-concerned reports that she’s “gaunt and emaciated” (This sounds suspiciously like the also-trumped up Demi Moore story) because her divorce is “taking its toll” on her health. Why? She looks perfectly healthy and happy. Granted, her divorce from husband Peter Facinelli was sudden and unexpected, but life goes on, and she has three daughters to keep her busy. Leave Jennie alone – she looks great and ready to start a new life.

I’ve always like Jennie, she seems like a sincere person & has kept her private life, private. She’s always been thin even in her 90210 days. Hope she finds happiness, she’s got 3 good reasons to.
It’s not as obvious in this photo, other pictures show you could count every bone in her chest. She is clearly underweight. Understandably since she didn’t want the divorce. Are you really saying Demi Moore wasn’t emaciated? She looked close to death at one point. Janet, you really have a complex about weight issues.
I watched her reality show and she was good TV with her honesty.
She should be glad to get rid of this man with a girly face and who many think is a homosexual.
I used to really like Jennie Garth; she seemed deep-hearted and sincere, but after watching her “reality” show she was really mean-spirited, making her assistant do all these things and laughing at her. Not nice at all.
The Real E they needed storyline that is why that relationship was that way. It was tongue in cheek.
I agree with Palermo. The only people Janet criticizes about weight issues are heavy people, like Adele. She is really bitchy and judgmental toward fatter people but astonishingly complimentary toward people with obvious eating disorders.
I like Janet but I think she has a skewed view of weight. I think she has lived in LA for too long.
Curious, does anyone know if Janet Charlton has an eating disorder? She’s strangely pro-skinny/anti-fat in a way that just doesn’t seem right.
To suggest that Demi ‘skinny’ claims were trumped up, when her spokesman admitted that she was entering rehab for “anorexia and other issues”. Plus she looked unhealthy. And now, just looking at Garth’s face, you can see she didn’t lose the weigh through proper diet and exercise as she has aged a good ten years. What’s the point of being super skinny if your face looks like crap?

The divorce seems to have been good for her career: first a reality series and now she’s dancing around in Old Navy commercials.
Extremely plain looking, noone would even notice her unless she was calling attention to herself or surrounded with handlers.

I don’t really know that much about her since I didn’t really watch 90210 or her reality show, but she does look pretty thin, which is understandable after all she’s been through. She needs to just pick up the pieces and go on with her life for her and her childrens’ sake. The only thing worse than being blindsided and dumped (especially publicly), is to be in a totally loveless and dysfunctional marriage.
