It has occurred to Suri Cruise at a very early age, that high heels can be really uncomfortable if you spend the day walking around, shopping. Suri’s NEW heels are even higher than her first pair, and after a few hours of checking out the stores in Boston with her mom, Suri asked for a ride. Regardless of comfort, she couldn’t take her eyes off her own sparkly shoes.

I honestly don’t understand why anyone cares about the footwear of a 4 year old girl. My daughter had a little pair of heels that she wore at about Suri’s age. She loved them. My son, who’s now 21, wore a Superman costume EVERYWHERE, day in day out, when he was a bit older than Suri. I just don’t get why people get so hung up and opinionated about this poor little girl. I’m no Tom “Xenu” Cruise fan, but Katie seems to be a caring and loving mother.
Suri has got to be the most spoiled rotten kid of any celebrity. I heard Tiny Tom say she screamed and had a fit if they tried to put any kind of pants and t-top on her. She only wants dresses and shoes, frilly and expensive. If she continues to be spoiled as she grows up, methinks Scientology may have to step in and de-program her. lol. BTW, I hope there are bodyguards near, as pedophiles and ransom-seekers are always lurking about. Katie is so frail she could not fend off a lowlife out for $$$$.
When I was a little girl, you got to wear heels to play dress-up. You didn’t get to wear heels in real life till you were about 13 or 14 years old. It was a sign of coming of age. All that is gone now. Children are born “grown”. I guess that is why the are so goofed up.

I can see allowing a little girl to wear heels to a special party/event, but surely a mother, especially one w/ Katie’s known shopping skills, SHOULD know better….perhaps the tot threw a fit?

I would like to hear a pediatric podiatrist weigh in on the safety factor of Suri walking around the streets in those shoes. Will she get bunions by age eight? Dress up play at home is one thing, but this just seems wrong.

Lately whenever I see Suri, Katie is always holding her. Where is Katie’s master? Guess he has a lot to do in the Scientology Celebrity Center and can’t be bothered too much; just give Katie the credit card and turn her loose. I think it’s refreshing to see a little girl who wants to act & look lady like. It would be nice to see more young Hollywood girls follow the way Suri dresses. Good example is Miley’s younger sister’s slutty halloween outfit…
I don’t know whether to believe the “hissy fit” comment; that kid has been dressed up within an inch of her life for as long as they’ve been releasing publicity pictures of her. I had been assuming Katie did it, since Katie usually seemed to dress up.
I feel really sorry for Suri. She can never have a normal life, never be anonymous and just walk down a street, can’t play with the neighborhood kids like the rest of us; she’s always going to be controlled and surrounded. I wouldn’t want to be her for anything. And I hope that things turn out different for her than what I am thinking. Kids are innocent (or start out that way)
