Reality fans might be interested to learn that Jean-Robert Bellande, the poker player from Survivor China (he was the 8th castaway eliminated) was pulled off an LA to Las Vegas flight today for questioning at Burbank airport. The reason: his checked bag was detected to have $40,000 in cash in it! Authorities questioned him and whatever he told them was acceptable. The flight was only held up for six minutes. What we want to know is why would anyone in their right mind CHECK a bag full of cash!

  5. Now that he’s been outed as a poker player who checks his buy-in cash, he’ll never do it again!

  6. He is not an unknown. He is extremely well-known to those that follow professional poker.

  7. He’d better hope that this story doesn’t get much press, or he’ll be known to your average airline passenger, too.

  8. Now, why would they even hold/question him for carrying his OWN MONEY?
This sounds like an invasion of privacy to me, where you can’t even carry your own money around without the authorities being suspicious.
Plus, this confirms the rumor that yes, THEY CAN TRACK YOUR MONEY.
