Financial advisor Suze Orman and her longtime partner Kathy Travis showed up for Oprah’s O Magazine ten year anniversary celebration in New York. When author and TV personality Suze came out in 2007 she admitted she had never had sex with a man and was therefore “a virgin.” We find Suze’s investment advice worthwhile, if sometimes a little simplistic, but it’s her DELIVERY that’s hard to take.

Oprah is very supportive of lesbians. As you may remember, she was the psychiatrist on the ellen show when she came out. And O took no money for playing the part of the sympathetic psychiatrist, which shows she is 100% behind lesbians. That’s why most believe she and Gayle King are partners and have been for quite a while.
Maybe Oprah, Gayle, Suze and Kathy can exchange notes as to new ummmmm, whatever they do.
My my, can’t people be sympathetic to what gays go thru without being labeled gay themselves? What is WRONG with you? I too am 100% behind lesbians and gays and I am 100% HETEROSEXUAL and always have been. I adore men and what they have to bring me, and what I feel like when I’m with them. I love being in love and having a manly man’s arms around me. BUT I support ALL POEPLE’S right’s to experience LOVE and AFFECTION with the person they are attracted to as well, and they shouldn’t have to have it approved by me or anybody else! It’s none of our business who anybody else sleeps with. PERIOD! What someone else does in the bedroom does NOT affect YOUR lovelife. LET IT GO, and let love be love in whatever form if finds itself as long as it isn’t hurtful to others, such as something like incest or anything to do with children who cannot make those types of dicisions for themselves.
Her advice has to be simplistic because she mostly has to deal with idiots. I really like her.
Her and her partner look normal. Why some lesbians choose partners that look like ugly men baffles me.

Reta, look on NAMBLA’s website. This is for consenting boys, who think they are in love with older men. WHO ***THINK*** THEY ARE IN LOVE. Those poor young boys you speak of may possibly BE gay, they may possibly be homeless and desperate, hungry, come from horribly asbused homes, who knows. And maybe these perverts treat them “well” to some degree, other tham for the fact of abusing them sexually, for which there is no excuse. Young people in dire circumstances can and do convince themselves that they are “in love” even in order to make it tolerable to live in an abusive situation when they feel they have no other place to turn and no one out there to help them. A lot of young gay people commit suicide because they feel there is no place to turn for help and no one cares or accepts them, and maybe they’ve been thrown out at home, or aren’t understood because there is so much hatred against gays still in this culture. That they would rather die than be mistreated by the likes of the people on this site is some of the most shameful parts of our society today. We need to protect our young, not destroy them.

Short true story: A catholic priest my then husband and I knew thru our business (antiques) was obviously gay and was interested in my husband even tho he knew him to be married. He took my husband out to lunch and dinner at very fancy restaurants in the guise of “business”. And bought many pieces of furniture from us, knowing my husband would deliver them to his over the top fancy place.
I came with him finally, and discovered that the priest had LOADS of family money, and lived in a very lavish place on the beachfront, and his live-in lover was a mortician. The two gay lovers looked extremely perplexed and bothered that I came with my husband when he delivered the piece of furniture. They offered us drinks and proceded to discuss things with him as if I weren’t there. It was obvious to me that the two of them had a thing for my husband and were pissed I was there. I never could convince my husband of it, he refused to see what I saw, even tho the priest came in the store all the time to talk to him and take him out for food. We’re no longer together, but that priest made me sick to my stomach parading around like he was a “man of God” and following all the rules of his religion, all the while living with his mortician lover and trying to seduce married men.

What a fascinating story about Catholic. It is sickening the way known sex offenders and pedophile priests are just moved from one city or country to the other after finding out that they have molested children. They should all be banned to a leper colony and castrated.
What’s rediculous is how any religion expects any person to ignore such a huge part of their humanity in their sexuality. Denying this only leads to problems. It’s time for the churches to allow their leaders to marry and have a normal life.
