The John Travolta saga continues. Last week The Enquirer revealed that John had a six year affair with his pilot Doug Gotterba in the 1980’s and the pilot avoided commenting. Now Gotterba has changed his tune to put it mildly, and he has plans to write a tell-all book about his romance with Travolta. We can already picture the Scientologists rushing to offer the pilot money NOT to write the book. Either way, Gotterba will profit nicely from the relationship. And why shouldn’t he? Masseurs and hotel workers continue to come forward with accusations against John who has been amazingly indiscreet though the years.

Doesn’t Travolta have any sort of damage control p.r. agency working w/ him? I think he should take a tip from Neil Patrick Harris, who came out w/ a statement about being gay right BEFORE the tabloids published a story — and hasn’t seemed to have had any problem getting work at all. Of course, it could be that Travolta is in total denial as well? It’s just a mess all around, and a picture of how an older generation (Travolta) handles the situation so differently than a younger generation (Harris).
When will these “tell-alls” come with actually pix or videos? Sounds like these idiots are all looking for a quick payday. If JT’s gay, in this day & age, no one cares. This nonsense has to end, there are worse things in life to worry over.
I agree with Diva & Palermo…..something “unexpected could become of Doug Gotterba (sudden heart attack, car accident due to leaking brake fluid, slipping from a cliff or tall building, hungry sharks or gators….etc.) before that book ever gets written.

Maybe start tapering off a bit. I wouldn’t recommend sharing the book with anyone else because they too may end up addicted. lol I would suggest mating the book with a bonfire or fireplace or flaming grill or firey torch….or….etc. lol 🙂

I can sort of see both sides here. One, I have to wonder what the big deal is. Being gay in this day and age is nothing to most people, especially in Hollywood. I think most would agree with you. I suspect that a lot of people (myself included) are fans of Travolta but are interested in what the creepy scientololgy cult will do. I don’t trust them and they have money and power……and not the best of intentions.
