TERI HATCHER AND EMERSON: NEVER TOO OLD TO PLAY WITH DOLLS!

Teri Hatcher’s fashionable daughter Emerson may LOOK very grown up and sophisticated, but she’s only nine years old! So it’s not surprising that Emerson loves the American Girl store at The Grove. Not long ago Teri ordered a custom doll that looks just like Emerson. Then Teri and Emerson went on a shopping spree in the store, spending $300 on doll clothes and accessories and outfits for Emerson that match. Now Emerson and her mini-me doll can wear the same sport clothes and sleep in the same pajamas.

   IMO this child is strutted in front of the cameras a bit too much. Make some friends her own age and allow her child to be a little girl. She comes across like she’s living her life through her daughter’s.

   The American Girls cult is terrifying and a rip off for the unfortunate middle and lower class kids who can’t afford to “keep up” with that idiotic trend. All the kids who buy into it will end up anorexic, insecure women with low self esteem. Gee….sounds just like a certain Desperate Housewife, doesnt it?

   The only child theory is a myth. I know plenty of kids with siblings who are spoiled rotten and think the world revolves around them. Not to mention their parents have to listen to them fight all day. Give me one child anyday.

    I’ve heard her little girl is very kind and generous and not spoiled at all. Just because you have money doesn’t automatically make you spoiled. It’s all about the parenting and the values you instill in your kids.

    Whoever is putting down the American Girls obviously knows nothing about it. There’s actually an educational aspect with the historical dolls and in my opionion they promote harmony among all cultures and races. You can buy a doll in any color. If you want to put down dolls I would chose the brats. They look like hookers.

    She look great. But, a little high maintenance, in terms of her being a beauty queen.
    Players are the kind of guys that are attracted to these ladies and are the real heart breakers. And give the regular guy a bad name, who doesn’t have a chance… Because the pretty lady thinks they have to be with a pretty guy to make their dream world work.
