TEXAS CULT: REAL-LIFE STEPFORD WIVES

We are absolutely HYPNOTIZED by the style these women rescued from the Texas cult are rocking. Notice that each woman is wearing exactly the same homemade long dress with a high collar and long sleeves. What do the shades of BLUE signify? They’re untouched by makeup but variations of the pompadour appear to be the chosen hairstyle. THIS is what polygamists want their spouses to look like? Someone should volunteer to take all these women to Neiman Marcus to see what the outside world has to offer. Living in a patriarchal society is destructive is more ways than we ever imagined. The women’s lack of education will certainly make assimilating into the real world a challenge. We can already picture Rene Zwellweger starring in the movie about this cult.

Do we have to exploit these women anymore than they have been already? leave them alone and stick to reporting about celebrities! disgusting Janet.

I agree there is absolutely no need for Janet’s catty remarks. Do you really have to insult these poor women’s beauty in order to somehow feel better about yourself? Janet should be ashamed, the style of “reporting” is ridiculous and childish.

To insinuate that the worst crime perpetuated on these women is one of style and fashion is disgusting. Completely sick.

Hi Janet,
These people are indeed a cult, but please don’t associate them with Texas. They bought a ranch in Eldorado under false pretenses. If Eldorado had known, they would have told them to go away. Thank you.

These women are a bunch of Stepford Freaks. But on the flip side – we see “poligamy” of it’s own kind on Maury Povich everyday. All these baby daddy loosers impregnating multiple women. Both scenerios are wrong.

Why does the Government really care about them ? Are they on welfare like so many women are.
Their clothing is very remind me of what women wore during the great depression, when they had nothing at all.
Looks like there just one close knit family, sharing one dude. With Biblical values.
Wonder why they picked Texas? Wow, did you hear how many lawyers are going to be involved in that court case hundreds. Wonder who’s going to FOOT that bill. TAXPAYERS.
How to break a family up all because the government wanted these ladies to be on the tax roles for welfare.
Why else? To get a job, where at… manufacturing jobs in America are going to China.

Texas breeds and encourages these kind of whackos to reside there. Look at what Texas produces: ‘Dr.’ Phil, Hillary Duff, Jessica, Ashley and Joe Simpson, GW Bush etc. Texas also was the site of JFK’s assassination and is responsible for the cover up that followed. Texas was behind the shameful Enron scam and the list goes on….

They picked Texas, not the other way around. What about Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez, Zodiac Killer, Hillside Strangler, that guy Applebeck (I believe) had his followers drink the KoolAid, that was San Diego, Scientology …. did California pick them?

That’s all the life most of these women have ever known….taking orders and procreating. They are basically hypnotized and brain washed. Offshoots of Mormon have always been this way and no doubt there are many more cult compounds in remote areas. So what else can you say about them; plus..no one..no one..no one…really truly knows what to do about the situation.

Everyone should be concerned about these people. THEY LIVE OFF THE GOVERNMENT! Hello! Read Jon Krakauer’s book about the FLD(”Under the Banner of Heaven”) and it will make you sick how these “cults” collect government checks. They don’t want interference with the outside world, but they take our money. HYPOCRITES!

After Katie Holmes’s contract with Tom Cruise is up she should become roommates with the women in the photo. They obviously have alot in common.
