This exceptionally attractive woman walking briskly in Central Park is not just another model or actress on Gossip Girl– she happens to be Queen Rania of Jordan. College educated Rania is the wife of King Abdullah II and they have four children. We were happy to learn she is an outspoken advocate for women’s rights, and that women in Jordan are NOT forced to wear head coverings.

She looks very modern and I’m glad to hear she doesn’t have to wear those stupid scarves and women over there don’t have to. It’s one of the stupidest LOOKING “uniforms” there is (besides our own over here…baggy pants look that look like the guys are wearing their grasndma’s old dresses, and huge baggy shirts that reach to their knees). NOTHING looks MORE rediculous than THAT!

She is a pretty woman and lives a life of luxury. You should compare her digs to all the poor subjects and refugees. Her hubby looks like a stuffed monkey.

90% of you who posted comments should get your facts straigh before you post. Fist off, Mohammed was never looked at as the Savior, he is a prophet of Allah (God). Second, it isn’t the Muslim religion that attacked us on 11 Sep 01, it was the Radical Islam, and it is Radical Islam that continues to be the issue today. I have been to many Middle Eastern and SouthWest Asian countries and the only one that requires women to wear the headscarve or face issues with Religious Police are the women in Saudi Arabia. For those who CHOOSE to wear the headscarf in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Oman, Yemen ect…it is exactly that, they CHOOSE to wear it out of modesty for the body.
