THE CHINESE VERSION OF SWAN LAKE IS MORE ASTONISHING THAN BLACK SWAN

Natalie Portman thinks she went through hell rehearsing for the dance scenes in “Black Swan,” but her hard work was nothing compared to what these dancers with the Great Chinese State Circus endured. The Chinese version of Swan Lake is acrobatic, physically amazing, and one step beyond…

  1. Oh my God, did that woman really pirouette on that man’s arms and the other man’s head? Amazing! I wonder if Max can get Kirstie to do that?

  2. I’ve sen this clip before on you tube, and yes, it is mind blowing the move she h=and her partner make. The Chinese begin training HARD with the children from a very early age and drill it into them, whatever their “sport” is (or has been given to them). I recall watching something where a father had given his son up to the government to raise in this demanding way so the boy would have a chance at a gold medal at The Olypics in later years. It was his only child. I believe the father said he was allowed to visit the boy twice a year.
These are incredible atheletes, but at what cost to their childhoods and family relationships. They have absolutely NO freedoms to ever choose or do anything they want. They are ordered to train endlessly, and I wonder where their studies for school come in with all that. They are OBSCESSED with being tops on all things.
Not taking away from these incredible performers, but knowing how they got that way saddens me immensely. They are nothing more than robots for the Chinese Government.

  3. it’s beautiful she must have a lot of confidence in her partner. Also the Chinese are well known for acrobatics. Well done

  4. Casonia Logenberry...Hells kitchen..Is only for the few? Year after year people from all over the world want to prove themselves to Chef Gordon Ramsay..Why? He is very hard to please and that what makes him attractive! says:

That type of Dancing is only for special people who have what it takes to Diet and Control and have the passion for that type of Dance but the movie really grossed me out to some degree but that story happened because some one feels that way and thinks that way? But more Power to people who have that skill!
