“THE HUNT” – TREAT YOURSELF TO A MOVIE THAT MATTERS

If you’re weary of the summer selection of kids movies and action movies, and want something you can sink your teeth into, we’ve got a Danish film that’s guaranteed to satisfy: The Hunt. It is SO engrossing, you won’t even realize you are reading subtitles. It’s the story of an ordinary but well-respected male teacher accused of being a child molester by an angry student. The plot evolves into a modern-day witch hunt. The script is beautifully written and subtle, but carries an important message. You may walk out of the theater emotionally exhausted, but you’ll be more open-minded than when you walked in. For that reason alone, this is a very important movie. Not surprisingly, it has won many film festival awards.
