THE IFS , ANDS, OR BUTTS OF MODERN ART

Omigosh, it’s time for a perplexing dose of CULTURE! Some of the world’s finest modern art has been assembled for an exhibition at the Tate Gallery in London and artist Anthea Hamilton’s giant buttocks have been creating quite a stir. The story behind the art project is even more interesting. Anthea was inspired by a 1970’s proposal she saw – it was a drawing done by eccentric Italian designer Gaetano Pesce for a DOORWAY in an upper east side building in New York. (Those crazy 70’s!) Can you imagine walking through that entrance every day? Needless to say, the entryway was never built, but now the inspired sculpture is up for a Turner Prize 2016.

  1. Kim K should have that as her front door. Oh, wait that’s her back door for men to enter.

  2. This conjures up the ASSets of such as Beyonce, Kim K, J-Lo, etc. The fixation on huge butts these days is so hilarious, that I am ROTFLMAO….(Rolling on the floor laughing my ASS off).

    P.S.: The END
