Who doesn’t love a great illustration of plastic surgery on a celebrity through the years? Stephen Saban at World of Wonder put together the tansformation of Lara Flynn Boyle’s face from 1991 to 2012. There’s a lesson to be learned here.

I can hardly believe it. I’m not against them tweaking their looks a little, but I think they run into trouble when they try to entirely change their look. She started with strong, serious features and traded them in for soft rounded features…a different person. Why not just go for a better version of herself? I wonder if she’s stuck with those lips or if she actively maintains them. She started on Twin Peaks. There were two beautiful brunettes. It’s like she was trying to turn into the other one, Sherilyn Fenn. Look up her pics and you’ll see.
The lesson is… never judge yourself based entirely on how you look.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to see this kind of ‘transformation’ in public.

There was nothing wrong with her face. I call it insecurity of her self image. Not to mention thinking it would get her more work. There was no reason to have all that done. It doesn’t make you look young, plastic surgery just makes you look stupid.
She just needs to let her lips go back to normal. She is still very pretty.
Can you imagine Maggie Smith resorting to this stupidity?

Very sad. Obviously she has body/face issues. She was quite attractive before getting her freak show on…
She whittled her nose down to nothing. Her lips look like she was stung by a bee. Does she really think this is an improvement? Very sad indeed.

Those lips are good for one thing and one thing only. Lara give me a call and I will show you excactly what you can use that puckered up stupid looking mouth for. No need to thank me. I accept this job as a civic duty.

Surely she is beating herself up for going off the deep end, especially with the lips. But as long as tinseltown is full of plastic surgeons, nothing will ever change.
Very sad. She was always so pretty, then got painfully thin. The last photo with the duck lips is just awful. What plastic surgeon would do such a thing?

I’m running out of patience with these types. Here’s a thought, Lara. Back away from the mirror and find something useful to do with your time. Read a book. Plant a garden. Volunteer at an animal shelter. See if an elderly neighbor needs a hand with anything. Surely there’s something you’re passionate about in life that doesn’t involve your own reflection?
Lesson learned…age gracefully.
I wonder if her plastic surgeon over compensated on her mouth to avoid the Priscilla Presley “joker” mouth? How do you even accomplish that to make her mouth look like that?
She wrecked her beautiful sexy nose and what the hell did she do to her face and lips?
She has painted herself into a corner. She cannot survive/ live with what she has done to her face- especially that mouth- but if she changes it, which she must…it can only get worse. OMG!
They all start out with the nose job claiming to fix the deviated septum as it can never be the camera “might” take better to the chisled nose. Then they keep going. The lips are the saddest because once they stretch those out there is no returning to the before. It must be an addiction and once you get started you just want more. So sad.
