It appears that loudmouth activist Al Sharpton, 59, has given himself a whopping makeover – and The Enquirer knows why. Al has always been hefty and packed over 300 pounds on his 5’10” frame. He says a vegetable and fish diet, plus seven days a week in the gym, brought his weight down to 145. But his real motivation was the fact that he developed a huge crush on a friend of his daughter- 35 year old stylist Aisha McShaw, whom he’s been dating. Al not only lost weight, he got a normal haircut instead of his trademark stand-up hair, shaved off his beard, and invested in expensive suits. Love is a powerful thing!

You missed the boat on Al, Janet. He got gastric bypass surgery years ago after Star Jones and Al Roker did. At first he looked really gaunt like they all do. Then he filled out a bit again and looked better. He’s also keeping the weight off.
He has his own MSNBC show. He started off not doing a great job, but obviously has worked at it and is much better informed and articulate.
