THE POLICE; SECRET SHOW

The much anticipated performance by The Police at the Grammys has a lot of fans very excited, but we have some even BIGGER news for them. The Police are also making a secret appearance at the Whiskey on Sunset this Monday night! Insiders are scrambling to find a way in. Officially, curious callers are being told that The Police are simply holding a press conference to announce their new album together. (They don’t want word spreading like wildfire.) But one person involved admitted they ARE expected to “sing a few songs.” We think once they get started they’ll put on a great show, so die-hard fans should start scheming to find a way to be there. Incidentally, Sting has already written all the songs for their entire new album so they’ll be working on that right away.

  1. old. they must need money to send their kids to college and buy more mansions.

  2. Sing can’t seem to contain his enthusiasm in that pic (sarcasm). I don’t know, were The Police ever really THAT big?

  3. I would like to see crusty the clown dance on stage while they sing for the trillionth time, dont stand so close to me.

  4. And when Stewart Copeland starts to drum too fast will Sting turn around and punch him out, or just sing faster?

  5. Who are they? They look so old. If they’re important enough, I will suck them all off.

  6. How big were the Police? They were the 1st band in the ’80s to consistently sell out Coliseum size events – 100k+ people. To compare, they were contemporaries of U2, and at the time, U2 was selling out about 20k seat venues.
