The list of celebrities who continue to be involved in Scientology keeps getting smaller and SMALLER. Surely the most prominent Scientologists, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Kirstie Alley, must be getting just a LITTLE nervous about now. After they leave the “church,” most celebs wait for a little time to pass before they start speaking out against the organization. They’re fearful of character assassination and being “disconnected” from relatives and friends still into Scientology. Jason Lee, the latest to defect, moved his family from LA to Texas, far from Scientology’s reach. His first wife claims the church broke them up because she wouldn’t immerse herself in Scientology. Jason didn’t want a repeat of THAT. The “My Name is Earl” star is more interested in photography these days than acting. Lucky for him, because his agent is still a Scientologist!

The Scientologists must not have anything on Jason. They’re famous for making sure they get incriminating evidence against as many of their celebrity members as possible in order to keep them from leaving. One can only imagine the dope they’ve got on Cruise, Travolta, and Alley. But then, with Cruise and Travolta all they’d have to do is confirm what the public has already heard for many years.
Glad to see Jason escaped from this despicable cult.

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard in a long time. The Mormons may be a strange bunch, but you don’t hear of them resorting the the tactics the Scientologists employ with their members. The Mormons don’t threaten their celebrity members with ruination of they decide to turn away from the faith as the Scientologists do.
