Guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel over the holidays were shocked when they were abruptly told they would have to check out and be moved to another hotel. It seems the son of the Sultan of Brunei (who owns the hotel) decided at the last minute he needed 200 rooms for several weeks during the Christmas holidays. The Brunei family loves to shop and have cosmetic surgery in Beverly Hills. Hundreds of guests were hastily loaded into buses and driven to the Bel Air Hotel and other fine hotels nearby. It sounds awful, but really isn’t because the Prince paid for all the expenses of the guests who were moved. Their stay at the BH Hotel was free and he paid ALL their expenses at the substitute hotel for the remainder of their visits.

My main beef with middle eastern Arab Islamic countries is:
I remember when a few years ago Iran had a massive earthquake that killed 10’s of thousands. The U.S. sent tons of food and supplies and rescue missions. A couple of other Muslim countries also had tragedies where we sent a lot of aid. We all know the devastations the U.S. experienced in 2011….floods, quakes, droughts, tornadoes, etc. We did not get one red cent from any of these multi-trillionaire countries. If they had another tragedy, we (tho we are broke) would still help them. I have to take some aspirin now.

Such excess is beyond disgusting. Especially, when it involves someone who hasn’t earned it.
The problem is “we” (meaning we the people) help these other countries but “we” have no say in it. I wouldn’t send a penny, if it was up to me, because our country is broke! Enough already with the foreign aid.
