Selena Gomez and her boyfriend The Weeknd spent some time this weekend playing with puppies at Citipups in New York. Apparently there was one puppy they couldn’t get out of their minds. Finally they broke down and Selena sent her assistant to pick up this Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and bring it home to Selena’s apartment. We wonder if they’re adopting together…

Assuming this pooch isn’t treated to the same level of “care” that Anna Faris and Chris Pratt showed to their shelter animal–which they subsequently abandonded, then, yes, we tentatively agree.

Oh come on! When she get bored with sweet thing, it will get pushed to the side then given away. “Stars” in the midst of multiple recovery attempts are quite unstable. We can’t forget THEY are the center of the universe – not a puppy.
