THIS MAKES US WANT TO SEE A PERSIAN REALITY SHOW

Leave it to Stephen Saban, our acclaimed colleague at The WOW Report, to find the most obscure and amusing videos echoing the culture of our times. This treasure features young men in a break dancing competition on a Persian rug, at a 1991 wedding reception in Iran. They seem to be trying to impress the ladies without much success. Their hair was inspired by Prince and their fashion by MC Hammer. It’s funny how the men ask each other to dance and the women sit around watching and looking bored.

  1. I don’t blame the women for looking bored, it WAS boring! They are a bunch of short all the same looking guys with the same hair and clothes doing the same stuff. BORING!!!

  2. oh janet, I liked you since like 20yrs ago about the same time this video was made by the way, but you seem like you are really becoming narrow minded and out of touch, you age is starting to show both in your face and posts. get with it and stop being so narrow minded.

  3. I LOVE IT! This is a prime example of the condition commonly called “Cheeseball”! These guys rule in Cheesball world.

  4. That sort of cheeseball stuff is still typical around the world – Japan, China, Italy, even England. The rest of the world really isn’t 24/7, up-to-the-minute cool the way North America is. It is rather strange that the corporate world has failed to exploit this fact.
