TIGER WOODS WANTS TO REBUILD HIS DEMOLISHED IMAGE BY AVOIDING LAS VEGAS
A number of Las Vegas charities are crossing their fingers that Tiger Woods won’t be afraid to hold his charity foundation’s largest fundraiser, Tiger Jam, in Las Vegas this year. Tiger cancelled the event last April due to his cheating scandal. According to Norm Clarke, Woods’ PR team has been discouraging visits to party central Las Vegas in hopes of rebuilding his shattered image. But the charities are hurting financially and hoping Tiger will resurrect the event. As long as he’s not photographed nightclubbing with questionable women, what’s left of Tiger’s reputation should survive the weekend intact.

I don’t see him ever coming back. Charlie at least didn’t pretend he was a role model family man. His demons were well known and his fall from grace was ‘expected’ in a sense. This clown on the other hand was so full of himself he thought he was invincible and smarter than anyone. This is when the court of public opinion refuses to forgive. People get disturbed by all this because they think being rich solves all one’s problems, and the actions of people like Tiger and Charlie prove that is not the case. People also want to believe in some type of class system in which there is a superior group, and the rich fit the bill, but again, their actions prove that is not the case. Ah well.

I agree Palermo. An exposed hypocrite never recovers reputation wise, and even for a hypocrite he went way too far, admitting to one of his hookups that his wife Elin was just an image choice, not a loving one. You just don’t do that to people, especially people like her who take commitment seriously and maintain it faithfully. He’s not just immoral, he’s amoral. Good thing his access to and therefore influence on his kids will be limited.

Hey anon, I see your point, but Tiger’s problems have also severely affected the pro golfing community who have seen their viewership tumble to pre Tiger Woods lows, meaning they’re taking a major hit in the pocketbook since what TV advertisers are willing to pay for an ad is directly related to how many people they can reach. In short, he has economically devastated the golfing profession in general, not to mention his own income losing product sponsorships which provided the lion’s share of his income since he became famous, destroyed his family, and clearly Tiger himself has been unable to move on, not winning a single tournament in over a year now. Respectfully, anyone who becomes as famous as him and then falls from grace as quickly and shockingly as him can be ignored. It’s not how human nature operates for most people.

Hey, “anonTWO” did you not realize that Tiger Woods is a very, very famous person who makes millions of dollars off of his once “squeaky clean image”. I agree that one’s business is their own. That is if they are not trying to portray otherwise. Who knows what he is up to now, as nobody had a clue what he was up to then. TW was a little too Freaky Deaky for everyone.
