We have to give Courteney Cox credit for handling her break-up with David Arquette with such sensitivity. She and David separated last year but she has yet to file for divorce. When they first split, David was despondent – he went kind of nuts partying and had an affair. Courteney talked him into checking into rehab and he completed treatment. After David left rehab he got a grip on himself and Courteney made sure he had access to their daughter Coco. She let him down gently. As Courteney hoped, time passed and David eventually found a girl he cares about (He’s seeing E.T. reporter Christina McLarty) and accepted the idea of divorce. Now they can have a civilized divorce with minimal hurt feelings – thanks to Courteney’s patience.

That’s respect for him. That is a wonderful thing to show and teach their daughter about relationships.

CC is a class act! She seems so real and honest.

If every divorcing couple treated their separation the way these 2 did, the world would be a much kinder, gentler place. In order for people to do it the way they did it, would indeed require above average intelligence. Quite frankly though, most couples don’t measure up in the IQ department!

I have to give her props for sitting in the audience at DWTS with their daughter cheering him on. The lucky person here is their daughter who will, at least as it appears for now, have parents who can behave in a civilized manner.

Any woman who takes up with this hot mess and his lunatic family needs her head examined!

Kitty, I have been meaning to tell you this for a long time…..I agree with everything you ever said on any of your posts. Uncanny.

Who cares if ‘she let him down gently’. A split is a split and they both cheated, however, I do believe he cheated first.

The reason I never cared too much for CC (and I know the reason is nutty) is because on”Friends” she screamed the two words….I know…constantly. That was just irritating. 🙁

Kitty, you hit this one out of the ball park again. ALL the Arquettes are certifiably nuts. He is truly mixed up with the divorce coming, plus he giggled and laughed like a girl whenever he was interviewed on DWTS. These stars continue to boggle the mind with their antics; at least they are never boring.

How did this Woman become famous? She’s horridly average in looks and talent.

She’s a boney little thing but I have always thought she was pretty. Gorgeous eyes. Loved her on Friends too. She’s a smart cookie too.

I never watched Friends, but I’m pretty impressed with how she’s handled all this. She could teach a lot of Hollywood a few things.
