TOMMY WISEAU REALLY WANTED TO GO TO THE ACADEMY AWARDS

The Room creator and subject of The Disaster Artist,Tommy Wiseau, was more than happy to attend the Independent Film Awards on Saturday. Up to the last minute he tried to score a ticket to the Oscars but failed. He asked Mark Hamill if he could help him get a ticket but Mark said he couldn’t even get his kids tickets. It’s too bad for Tommy that James Franco got himself caught up in the “Me Too” movement and it cast a pall on The Disaster Artist. If Tommy fails to get a seat at the Oscars, we bet he’ll finagle his way into a few parties – without Franco.

  1. ‘Tis true, poor attention-starved Tommy got caught up in the Franco sh*tstorm–and after such a promising debut at the Golden Globes.

Meanwhile: Congrats to Sam Rockwell–who is wonderful, but we’re sorely disappointed that Richard Jenkins didn’t win Best Supporting Actor. 🙁

Lastly, the SIDESHOW underway to prove that “Ryan Seacrest is Really, Really, Straight–We Swear!” has gone to ludicrous, never-seen-before lengths to make its point. Has there ever been a more egregious instance of he that doth protest too much?

Seacrest-mentor and double-deep-closet impresario Merv Griffin must be proud–(wherever he may happen to be)! 😀
