Stop the presses! Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham made front page news in the UK because SHE GOT A HAIRCUT – or more accurately, removed her extensions. We’re depressed from reading about world problems too – but this is grasping at straws. Of course, we have to admit the U.S. can be just as silly about celebrities. Remember Pamela Anderson knocked all the other stories off the front page when she had her implants “removed” a few years ago. (So many people were outraged that she put them right back IN.)

   Well, in this case natural is better. But it’s really the rare older star who looks good in long hair. She actually could pull it off. Imagine what 10 or 15 pounds would do.
