TWO ECCENTRIC GENIUSES IN NEW YORK: GRACE CODDINGTON AND JOHN GALLIANO

Two offbeat characters turn heads in Manhattan. You might remember red-haired Grace Coddington from the Vogue magazine documentary “The September >Issue.” She has some head of hair, doesn’t she? A former model, Grace has been the brilliant Creative Director at Vogue since 1988 and the film implied that SHE was the real genius at Vogue, not Anna Wintour, who enjoys all the credit. The unlikeable but brilliant designer John Galliano always breaks fashion rules. His racist meltdown blamed on alcoholism a few years ago destroyed his career, but he is attempting a comeback.

  1. he cursed out the woman in France, the Jews around the world won’t let him make a comeback. Parson school in NYC was going to have a 4 day master class of him to talk about how it was like to run a fashion house but the Jews of new York put a kibosh on on everyone’s parade. Soon USA citizens will be living like the people in palestine, no rights and no voice.

  2. Whatever happened to the First Ammendment? You should be able to use any words you want. It’s called freedom of speech. Jews and the blacks are the worst about trying to control your rights to free speech. What’s next- thought control?

  4. No matter whom he cursed, racism does not belong to 21st century. So dont call on Free Speech, because this was a hate speech. You are missing the point. Perhaps it’s time those public figures were treated as everybody else or an example. What a novel concept! A celeb got punished for being racial hater!

  5. They look like Street people. Just give them a shopping cart and a bottle of 2 buck chuck.

  6. Freedom means being able to think and express your own thoughts.. He has every right to say whatever he wants. Mel Gibson is a talent. He made some excellent films-much better than most of the trash a lot of the money driven Jewish cabal in Hollywood put out. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

  7. Wow….come on Janet…RACIST? Really? You want to go there? WOW.

Can you give us an example of said RACISM?

It is pretty harsh and destructive to call someone that. BTW, I wasn’t a fan of the musical Fiddler on the Roof. Does that make me a racist?
