Redmond O’Neal was photographed Saturday leaving St John’s hospital where he visited his mother Farrah Fawcett. Farrah recently returned from Germany looking frail after cancer treatments. Sadly, she is reportedly unconscious and the family has been gathering. Despite this tragic turn of events, Redmond managed to get arrested for drug possession yet again on Sunday morning and remains in jail. It looks like Farrah’s documentary “A Wing and a Prayer” will not have a happy ending.

RIP Farrah. Its to bad when you die slowly, like farrah did. We should all be lucky enough to die quickly in our sleep.

This may sound strange, but I had a dream a few months ago where Redmond and I were in a room with only 2 chairs and a bare lightbulb hanging down. I talked to him for several hours and straightened his a** up, and he stayed straightened up. Farrah, I’m truly sorry for all your suffering, and I pray for a miracle. You are one unique lady.

That kid ought to be ashamed of being alive and wasting our earth’s precious natural resources.

He is a complete waste of space on earth. I’d be embarassed to have him for a son

He looks inbred, must have been a recessive gene in the mix. Poor Farrah…it was wine and roses for a while with Ryan, then the hugely troubled Redmond came along and then Ryan cheating and then Farrah getting beaten up by (can’t remember his name). Sometime you pay for your sins, when you commit fornication sin. I am still sorry for Farrah’s plight.

drug and alcohol addiction is a DISEASE and I’m sure that this family doesn’t need any more of your opinions….ignorance will be the undoing of our society

Janet, really, why do you allow the hate comments like gerard Vandenberg, to remain on your site? I know you. Yes I do and this is not like you to allow the evil and violence inciting remarks to remain. Snarky is one this, disrespectful to your loyal readers is another. Ban these hatefilled people. Please, Janet. You are much better than this.

@ 10:51 am: I disagree. Drug and alcohol addiction are SINS. It starts when demonic spirits enter a person’s mind and starts that little temptation, which turns into a full-blown habit. Apparently Redmond was never taken to church or SundaySchool and learned how to combat Satan’s lies by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you don’t think Satan’s demonic spirits are real, just look in today’s newspaper and headlines: Mothers stabbing kids, fathers killing whole families, the madman that killed 14 in upper state NY, the 7 policemen that were killed within 2 weeks, the unrest in the Middle East, the 9/11 here, etc. Sins start with a whisper in the ear by demons.

dandylion, how can you be so ignorant in this day and age. It is a disease
there are physical changes that happen in an alcoholics body that don’t happen in a non alcoholics body when alcohol is consumed.

dandy lion: perhaps you misunderstood. judgement will occur upon leaving this life, not before. and not by you…moron.

I feel so badly for this family. Obviously, Redmond has been affected by his mom’s health—he is an only child. My heart goes out to Farrah, Ryan and Redmond at this very, very sad time.

Redmond is an over priviledged, over indulged spoiled brat. His mother is fighting for her life, and he’s abandoning court-appointment rehab and getting busted for heroin. Nice. Where’s the money coming from for these drugs? Someone is financing it and something tells me Redmond doesn’t have a job.

Yes this is sad but he is the product of his parents. It’s sad he’s a mess but Farrah was no “angel” during the time he was being raised. She had her own drug issues that weren’t public.

There really one way to take care of Redmond’s problem is to lock his ass up and say no bond.

  • Blind Item: America’s Sweetheart Battling A Drug Addiction?

One of America’s Sweethearts is battling a serious drug addiction- not hers, but her best friend’s. Through the years these two have been stuck to one another like white on rice and her fame rubbed off on her pal. They’ve been roomies, have worked together on set, and even launched a business venture together. But all that success has come with a price. After years of being sober, the less famous friend has fallen HARD off the wagon and our gal doesn’t know what to do. She’s hosted an intervention, hired an addiction specialist, and even threatened to end the friendship, but nothing seems to work. What’s a girl to do?
