UK BOY BAND JLS SOAKS UP SOME LOCAL CULTURE AT ROSCOE’S HOUSE OF CHICKEN ‘N WAFFLES

You know these dressed up guys who’ve been walking around Hollywood are SOMEBODY, and it turns out they are a boy band from the UK called JLS. (JLS stand for “Jack the Lad Swing” – whatever THAT means.) The group placed second on England’s The X Factor talent show and they’ve been churning out hits over there ever since. Jay-Z predicts “They’ll be bigger than *NSYNC!” Right now, JLS is on their way to eat at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n Waffles.

  1. Surprise surprise Janet, there exists a world outside our borders. Please fix the typo in this story title…you have “JSL” instead of “JLS”. I was over there and got to watch the entire season of X-Factor, and they are actually quite an amazing group. Their hits are viral over there, and I have no doubt that they will be a big hit over here as well. I don’t say that lightly. There are lots of ‘groups’ over there that are popular, but would never make it in the US (anyone heard of N-dubz? Exactly.) Jay-Z is probably right. They will be bigger because they’re a good quality group, they sing well and produce catchy, enjoyable tunes. But they deserve at least the respect of having their name spelled correctly.

  2. Also, they need to have a launch party of their album here in the states, because their songs really are good, and would be well-received on our radio stations given the chance.

  3. Lisa, too bad your fab “band” is so run of the mill common in their dressing tho. They like identical to every OTHER young guy out there nowadays and are nothing unique to look at. I wouldn’t go see them for free if THIS was what I had to look at! I’m pretty sick to death of the thugish clones, cookie cutter stamped out of the same cloth and prototype. Doesn’t ANYBODY have any actual creativity and talent anymore?

  4. in england ChickenShit looks like this.

(IT SMELLS THE SAME WAY THOUGH)

  5. I can’t see chicken with waffles. I thought chicken was a lunch or dinner dish.

  6. I watch enough British shows to know that “Jack the Lad” is what they call a playboy over here

  7. Reta, your comments are so utterly superficial and ridiculous. Seriously. If you are that shallow that you’re judging their talent based on the outfits in THIS picture, then they would do well not to have you as a fan. You haven’t the first clue about these guys…OR their talent.
