UNLIKE MOST TV, “AMERICA’S MOST WANTED ” MAKES THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE

It makes sense that the female skewing cable channel, Lifetime, would pick up “America’s Most Wanted” because, let’s face it, women are most often the victims in crimes. So naturally they love to see criminals caught! And John Walsh nailed over 1100 fugitives in the 23 years the show was on Fox. After Fox canceled “Wanted” last year, Lifetime snapped it up and just ordered 20 more episodes. This is one of the few TV series that actually performs A PUBLIC SERVICE and we don’t know why the police department in every big city doesn’t have it’s OWN similar show, offering rewards for information. (All that TV time reserved “for religious purposes” could be better used fighting crime.)

  1. I love this guy. He has done so much good in the world. We should clone him.

  2. God bless John Walsh. He’s helping to save other people’s lives-it’s a shame he couldn’t save his poor son’s life. I love AMW and I was disappointed when it was canceled. I’m glad it’s still on TV.

One of our local stations has a Crimestoppers feature on once a week with mugshots, etc.

  3. Yes, and let’s bring back “Unsolved Mysteries,” too! 🙂

  5. Yeah, Hilary. Unsolved Mysteries was the best. Loved that show. Robert Stack was great!
