Pregnant Ashlee Simpson was not thrilled when her new husband Pete Wentz announced on the cover of OUT magazine in 2008 “Yeah, I am a fag!” He seemed to be drumming up some notoriety for himself by admitting that he had made out with guys and had a crush on John Mayer. An insider revealed to us that Ashlee has been frustrated because she complained she hasn’t had sex with her husband since last summer. He was always too busy or just not interested. It made her think back to that magazine cover and wonder…..next thing you know, she filed for divorce.

If my husband did that I would have divorced his loose a*s right there and then in 2008 – but then again I would never be with an effeminate/bi-sexual male to begin with. And as for not putting out in ‘forever’, his ass would have been down the road back then.
And usually when a male doesn’t put out for the better half is because he is sticking it elsewhere.

I totally agree Mel, and the reason for Ashlee’s self-destructive behavior is because Pete’s career kept going strong while hers evaporated, leaving her sitting home alone with nothing to do but think about it.

The bottom line is that these two seemingly unstable people produced an adorable little boy. I just hope they have enough sense or enough nannies and family to help them take care of the toddler.

BTW, there isn’t a shred of evidence that Pete has ever gone home with a guy, just that he’s kissed a few, and Ashlee must have been aware of it. I think marrying a rock star was at least partially a calculated move on Ashlee’s part aimed at plugging the leak in her dwindling celeb cred. And recall that Pete didn’t propose until after Ashlee either decided, or at least allowed herself, to get pregnant.
Now both sisters are without a man.
It was obvious Wentz swung both ways (lots of pics in rag mags). Now divorced w/ a baby involved. Ashlee was always jealous of big sis, losing weight and getting a nose job.
And speaking of big sis; she can not seem to land and keep a man. The one she is with now is dead broke and living off her. It appears she found the 30 pounds that Ashlee lost. Reports are she is up to 150 lbs. at 5′ 3″.
