Various websites have been writing that Zsa Zsa Gabor and her daughter Francesca Hilton have had a “deathbed reunion” after being estranged for many years. In fact, they have never been estranged. For the past eight years, while Zsa Zsa has been confined at her home, she’s been on the phone with her daughter just about every day. Sources tell us that Zsa Zsa’s eccentric husband Frederic Von Anhalt refuses to allow Francesca to come into the house to see her mother- hence the phone relationship. Francesca was at the hospital every day with Zsa Zsa while Frederic was out having press conferences. We were frankly horrified to learn that Frederic invited paparazzi to witness Zsa Zsa being brought home in an ambulance, looking and feeling awful. Many unflattering photos were taken. Despite dire predictions, for the time being Zsa Zsa is eating and recovering at home. Incidentally, there seems to be no truth to the Prince’s claim that he and Zsa Zsa were victims of Bernie Madoff.

I live in Los Angeles and have seen him numerous times at this cafe that gay men frequent. He is a gold digger who only married Zsa Zsa for money and deserves to end up with nothing.

Clementine: It was ZZ’s sister, Eva, who Merv Griffin squired around for years. Eva, imho, had the most gorgeous face. Merv was in a highly publicized gay scandal.
Poor Zsa Zsa. She’s the only surviving Gabor sister. That poor woman is 93 years old, sick, frail, and bedridden. She’s no longer that glamorous Hollywood party girl that we’ve come to know. I heard that she’s been depressed ever since Eva, her mother, and Magda had died, and that she no longer has the will to live. She’s really been out of the spotlight ever since Eva died.
I have been a big fan of Eva ever since I saw her on Green Acres. When Eva died, I was just devastated, and I just was crying on and off. Thirty years of my life was gone on that one day, and it changed my life.
Zsa Zsa may have been a cop-slapper and a troublemaker, but right now she needs our prayers. Hang in the Zsa Zsa dahlink. God isn’t finished with you yet.
I plan to visit Eva’s grave (along with Merv Griffin’s and Eddie Albert’s) the next time that I go out to Los Angeles. If Zsa Zsa dies and she’s buried in Los Angeles, I will visit her grave as well.
Don’t canonize the Gabor sisters. In their day they were the equivalent of the It Girls, and people like Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton. And many considered them trash. They capitalized on their – for want of a better word – infamy as bad actresses and tarts and became amusing personalities and fixtures on the talkshow circuit.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
