For the past few months Courtney Love, 47, (above in New York) has been walking around with what’ s been described as a “new face.” Last year she appeared thin and drawn after weight fluctuations. Right now she’s in Europe performing and there has been considerable speculation about how she achieved her youthful and undeniably fresh look. Sources say she went to plastic surgeon Dr Sam Rizk in New York and had facial rejuvenation involving fat transfer to her face. The fat supposedly contains stem cells that plump and tighten the skin. Whatever she’s doing – it works!

I guess it’s more important to her to have plastic surgery than mend her relationship with her only child. And her nose is crooked as hell.
Yeah, her rt side of her nose is definitely looking a bit Michael Jacksonish now. The left side still looks pretty good and I hope she doesn’t keep jacking it up and wind up REALLY looking like MJ! She does look pretty good here overall and the dark streak down the middle of her hair is finally gone too. Now if only she could lazor off those hideous tattoos…no pretty woman looks good with nasty drawings all over their skin. You can never dress up pretty and have those things showing, it’s a complete distraction.
As for her daughter, the girl is grown and the damage has already been done. I’m quite sure there never WILL be a close relationship between them. I only hope Frances doesn’t let the emotional issues take her down like so many have. She is obviously a strong girl already to have made it this far with the start she had in life and still be standing tall, AND doing her own thing with her interesting art. I hope the best for her. Her parents were both talented people artistically, so she seems to have inherited at least some of their DNA, she just has to be careful with the rest of it. Stay strong girl!
Say what you want. She looks unbelievable. Even with the tats, which I hate… I guess devil worship has its percs…
She does look better than for instance Priscilla Presley, but she needs to get her nose re-done.
Reta, I agree with 75% of what you just said. First she is not that hot and she always looks like she needs to take a bath. Secondly, what talent? Her husband yes, her hell no. Her daughter does have a chance as long as she stays as far aways from her mother as possible.
The right side of her nose needs fixin’, and her eyes are just the tiniest bit cross-eyed, otherwise she looks 100% better than her reputation.
Love may not be as talented as SHE thinks, but slagging her off as talentless is absurd. She performed live on stage, and worked with respected musicians like Melissa Auf de Maur, who, I doubt, would have tolerated a no talent freeloader.
I find it rather pathetic when people cannot separate their personal likes and dislikes from reality.

She looks like a mannequin here—or, (given her hairstyle), like the Savannah cemetery statue John Berendt made famous in “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil…”
Agree with those who have compared her to MJ. Her insecurities will probably keep her tweaking with surgery until she looks not-quite-human.
But she’s definitely got something. Years ago, when she was making movies, she wore a strategically ripped, white dress that looked like it had been blasted off of her. And she looked amazing.
Yeah Scooby, people have grown to loathe Love, and so forget that she did have a prime. During her glory days in Hollywood, she was respected, and had a presence.
I happen to like her singing voice. It has a raw edge, and is deep and throaty, sexy -wide open. She writes incredible poetry, lyrics, songs, which I admire in her. Not that many performers actually write their own stuff, AND she plays guitar as well as most guitarists in bands do. I think I even saw her play piano while performing before too. She’s a horrible influence on herself mainly and has spent most of her life self imploding and reassembling the shards afterwards. I thought she was great in her role as Larry Flint’s wife, and she was outstandingly beautiful at the Academy Awards that year in a beautiful white gown that people are still talking about and showing when they talk about Oscar gowns that are great. She’s her own worst enemy and she knows that more than we do, just sometimes she faces it and does something about it. I’m amazed she’s still standing, but not surprized her daughter is brilliant too. That seems to happen when both parents are artistically blessed, however doomed. I hope she keeps writing no matter what. There aren’t that many great poets nowadays, but she IS one.
Reta, don’t forget that, even with all that other stuff aside, she was a feminist icon. Her F-you attitude, her unwillingness to be coy, or accommodating, and play the pop tart, put her more on the same level as Tina Turner than, say, Madonna.
Yes, and I never did like Madonna or her voice, OR her poser attitude. But I think Love has a much better voice than Madonna and better writer as well. I would never compare either to Tina tho. Does Tina even write at all? And I’ve never seen her play an instrument.

BTW, I DO think that Monroe was an extremely talented actress, and a genius of sorts. And, from what I understand she was a gentle decent person. However, she had serious problems, and could not overcome these. I take issue with her deification…the deification of anyone for that matter, particularly a celebrity.
Holy CRAP! She looks AMAZING! This isn’t plastic surgery, its like, she went to LOURDES! Its miraculous! Hey, I don’t always endorse her lifestyle, etc. but I sure would like to know who did her face….I would be on the next plane to get did myself! 🙂
Before you book your appt. with this plastic surgeon, you may want to see other recent photos of Courtney. This photo looks very little like other recent photos. She looks a mess now, her chin’s been destroyed somehow. This doctor is shady. Just my intuition and from spending too much time researching p.s., I admit. HE is putting himself out there with tons of fakery and misinformation. I suspect he’s hired spam team (or similar) to denigrate better surgeons. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
