WHO KNEW STEVEN SEAGAL WAS A HOT COMMODITY? A&E, THAT’S WHO

We didn’t know Steven Seagal still had it in him to BREAK RECORDS at A&E with his new series “Steven Seagal, Lawman.” First of all, you have to believe that Seagal has been quietly working as a deputy at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana for the past twenty years and these are his real life adventures. And all this time we thought he was just an actor! Anyway, Seagal’s cop show debuted as the most watched original series ever launched on A&E with 3.5 million viewers! He still takes himself very seriously and he’s put on a few pounds, but Seagal proved he has what it takes, and viewers love him again.

Walker, Texas Ranger? Oh, Seagal, Louisana sheriff on A&E! WOW!
You’d think with all that fighting with the bad guys, he’d have lost that Buddha belly by now.
ROTFLOL!!!

I don’t think people are tuning in because they love him, they are tuning in because they want to see the freak show that he is. He is a washed up has-been never was “actor” (yeah, riiight!) who has been a bloated blimp for as many years now as I can remember.
He has a swelled head about himself. He came in my antique store years ago and a person inside approached him and asked “aren’t you Steven Seagal?” He didn’t so much as even blink or answer her but just gave her a dirty look and walked coldly away. What a colossal asshole!!! He should be thanking his lucky stars anyone would even take the time to talk to him!!!

I saw him promoting this new show on “The View” and it was painful to watch… he mumbled and was nearly incomprehensible. One of the worst interviews I’ve ever seen, and clearly, VERY full of himself. This is one show I won’t be watching!

I always loved him…there was no more gorgeous guy in the world than Segal in those first two movies of his when he first hit the screen (with the exception of Mickey Rourke in 9.5 wks.) And those first few movies of his were so badass!….I just don’t understand why he doesn’t a serious trainer and get back in shape…I think that the weight is his only problem and that can be fixed–he looks good otherwise..its a crime that he let himself go like this.

Gene Lebell knows all about just how fake Stevie is. He made him crap in his pants when Gene got him in a head lock and Stevie passed out while crapping in his pants.

He is now a tired old man, grasping at whatever shreds of fame are left. Such is life for all in GollyWeird.

Malario – I vaguely remember that terrific Gene Lebell story from years ago – as I recall Seagal, the so-called martial arts expert, challenged anyone on the set of one of his movies to try and beat him up. Gene, a much older guy, took the challenge and easily knocked him out cold. Seagal was very embarrassed and swore everyone to secrecy. Am I right?

He may have started out great, but after the first 15 minutes, I couldn’t take it anymore…BORING and deleted it from my Tivo! He’s not a man who can create much excitement without a script.
