Will Smith was appalled to learn that his family was booked in economy seats on an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Manchester. The Smith family is accompanying 10 year old Willow on her European tour with Justin Bieber. When Will learned that there were NO business or first class seats on the 50 minute flight, he decided to charter a private jet for around $15,000. Aer Lingus staffers were disappointed because they had made special arrangements for the Smiths to get through the Manchester airport quickly. Nothing but the best for Willow.

I am not the least bit jealous of them, and I actually feel sorry for Willow and the other kids being catered to, as they will grow up selfish and with no values. Is anyone jealous of them? Rubbish. If I had his kind of money, I’d do the same thing. Who wants to sit in cattle class with a bunch of screaming children and no legroom?
The plane ride was only for 50 minutes. If they can’t hack a small time of discomfort, then when they get older they will be obnoxious and thinking of no one but themself. Some families don’t make even $15,000 per year. Will should take them to orphanages and homeless shelters and see what real suffering is.

Interesting to see how they treat these flights for the taxman…there is a huge scam with the likes of Will, J Lo, and others using private jet flights as deductible business expenses..these Smiths are arrogant fools not to mingle with their fans when they have a chance and especially on such a short flight as this.
These people are the epititome of the classic obnoxious Hollywood family. Fake, rude, cheap (businesses have a hard time getting them to pay for services and items–they think they’re so fabulous, everyone else should want to give them stuff for free), arrogant, & entitled. No one in Hollywood community can stand any of them.
This just goes to show you that money can’t buy class.
Anyway, if they would have lowered themselves to muck in and fly with the riff-raff, that would have been another chance to start a conversation and promote the demon cult of SCI they are in. Palermo, I’m pretty much in complete agreement with you on the kids issue. I’m sick to death of ALL these idiot kids being shoved down our throats. They CAN’T perform and are just thrown out there because their parents are famous, so they automatically get the “in” switch pulled for them. I’m really fed up with it. They don’t have to have ANY talent whatsoever, as long as their parents are rich/famous, and the kid wants to have a “career” in entertainment, they do.
I’m for the ones who do it the way the ones did years back who wanted to stand on their own two feet and changed their names and started at the bottom and earned their OWN way to the top, IF they had any talent to GET them there.
I watch American Idol and see several very talented people going through quite a lot of criticism to realize their dream. One of the contestants is a maid for God’s sake, paying her dues and trying to make her way.
And then we see these ridiculously young and untalented brats (like Willow Smith) opening for Justin Beiber a situation which, whether you like him or not, any artist would kill for to get the exposure, just because of who her father is. It truly makes me ill.
And, who is the “young man” behind him? I’m just saying….hmmmmm
a black man wanting his family to travel in style. priceless!
