Don’t pick on Soon-Ye. She’s had a hellish life. Adopted off the street, didn’t know her biological parents, didn’t know her age (the relief workers guessed she was 8). Then adopted by Mia Farrow and Andre Previn who soon divorced leaving Soon-Ye in a chaotic family of many adopted, disabled children and one busy single mother. Poor girl probably dreamed of stability and maybe marrying grandfather Woody seemed like stability to her. Afterall, he never married any of his girlfriends, she is the first. Meanwhile, she had got her BA and Master’s Degree from University in the past few years. She is a survivor. He is the deviant.
